Hi! My name is Kate and I'm so excited to be a freshman this year at Wake Forest! I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, known for its delicious southern specialties and spectacular seafood. Being surrounded by so many amazing restaurants sparked my love for trying new foods and appreciating different cuisines. My hobby as a foodie along with my interest in photography led me to create my food Instagram (@chs_eats) last year, based in my home town, which gave me an outlet to combine both of my passions. Recently, my appetite for food has surpassed just the restaurant scene and transcended into the kitchen as I have learned to enjoy cooking and testing out new recipes for my friends and family!
