Hi guys! I'm Liz, a  Vietnamese-American and born in sunny California. My love for food has started from a young age since I've always been in the kitchen cooking, baking, or testing food with my mom. Because of my Vietnamese heritage, Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines. I absolutely love food, baking, writing, photography,  and run my own page @hoangsinthefoodbiz on Instagram (don't follow the Instagram account linked in my bio; it is a dead link and I can't fix it). Ice cream is probably my favorite dessert, as I have a huge sweet tooth. One food I don't think I'll ever be able to get on board with is raw tomatoes unless they're in pico de gallo. I'm currently a student hoping to study computer science and continue expanding my love for food. Oh! And if I were one of the 7 deadly sins, I would definitely be gluttony. <3

2. My favorite ice cream flavors include strawberry cheesecake, cookie dough, green tea, and black sesame. 

3. Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store (not sponsored) and my favorite snacks are the olive oil popcorn, plantain chips, Turkish apricots, and their chocolate chip cookies. 

4. The first album I ever bought was the Kendrick Lamar DAMN album, followed by the Love Yourself Tear one. 

5. My favorite book is 1984. 

6. Turtles are one of my favorite animals.

7. I can't whistle. 

8. I want to study computer science.

9. I HATE the rain. It just drains my mood and makes me feel lazy. 

10. Pancakes are my favorite breakfast food. 

11. *bonus. Even though I'm Vietnamese, the only Vietnamese dish I can make are the pandan waffles.
