Food and TV go together like peanut butter and jelly. Like macaroni and cheese. Like cookies and milk. So naturally, it would seem that our taste in TV shows would be reflected in our taste in food.
For instance, a study at Penn State says that people with an affinity for spicy foods tend to seek out opportunities that will induce an adrenaline rush, like a horror film or a thrilling television show.
The same study also explains that people who indulge in carbs are on average more cautious and passive than those who venture further out from the base of the food pyramid. They often seek “what’s familiar and comfortable. And once they find it, they like to stick with it.”
What about if you like sweet food? Or salty food? Or sour food? The foods you like say so much about who you are as a person. But what your dietary preferences actually mean is for me to know and you to find out.
So, can we guess your favorite TV show using just information about your taste in food?

Game of Thrones
There's only one way to describe your taste in food: epic. You need only the most substantial and hearty foods in your diet to keep up with the rollercoaster of cliffhangers that the writers of Game of Thrones continue to throw your way. On a menu, you're likely to order the largest piece of meat the restaurant has to offer alongside a heaping pile of creamy mashed potatoes and a pint of dark ale to wash it all down.
