Suns out, cones out. That's my personal mantra for summer 2024, anyway. Frankly, there are too many good ice creams, both from chains such as Dairy Queen as well as local creameries not to have a tasty treat at least once every three days. While I love a cute, fruity cocktail brimming with ice and orange peels, I will always choose a patio seat with ice cream in hand. While a classic scoop of smooth vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry is simply iconic, I tend to opt for the ice creams with massive bits of brownie, chocolate, cookie, dough, candy, and the like.
