Trader Joe's is iconic for many a product. Best known for delicious hashbrown patties, mini ice cream cones, a wide array of divine cheap wine options, and even its wide selection of flowers and plants, there's a reason there's a whole fan club behind the grocery store chain. However, if you've been on social media this year, you've definitely seen that customers lined up outside TJ's ahead of the store's opening to snag the $3 mini canvas tote bags. Talk about Black Friday vibes. Many are even taking the somewhat plain bags and adding a bit of personal pizzazz with pins, paints, and even embroidery. These mini totes definitely sold out everywhere, so TJ's started offering mini-insulated tote bags in June. Now, it's likely that a mini insulated tote bag restock is coming to Trader Joe's.

When was the first mini insulated bag drop at Trader Joe's?

Trader Joe's fan account @traderjoseobsessed, previously shared that Trader Joe's mini insulated bag was arriving in May, then the date jumped back to June 3. Ultimately, most stores put their bags on the floor on June 4. And yes, they sold out almost immediately.

How much will they cost?

These small insulated totes cost $3.99 each. Additionally, it is not known if Trader Joe's will impose a limit based on the popularity of their mini canvas totes.

What is the exact size of the bag?

Rest assured that these are significantly smaller than the large insulated bags. Those clock in at about 18” x 7” x 13” with the capacity to hold up to 8 pounds of groceries. The minis are ideal for keeping lunches fresh on the go, small picnic spreads, or seltzers cold until ready to be cracked.

Will there be a restock?

Yes! According to @traderjoesobsessed, mini insulated tote bags will be available at stores on Wednesday, July 17. If you missed out on the first round, you're in luck.
