Since we are now “technically” adults and it has become socially unacceptable to go trick-or-treating (I know, it’s tragic), simple recipes like this give me hope that maybe adulthood isn’t so bad after all.
Homemade Butterfinger Candy Bars

- 1 1/4 cup candy corn
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 10 oz milk chocolate
Ingredients

Step 1
Measure candy corn and pour into microwave safe bowl. Heat for one minute on high and stir until creamy.

Add creamy peanut butter to melted candy corn and place in microwave for one minute on high. Remove and stir until creamy.

Cover baking sheet with tin foil and smooth mixture onto sheet for 1 1/2 hours until hard.

Once hardened, cut into 2×1 inch pieces.

Place chocolate in microwave safe bowl and heat on high for one minute and stir. Reheat in thirty second intervals until thoroughly melted.

Dip and cover the hardened candy corn and peanut butter pieces in the melted chocolate.

Set chocolate covered pieced onto a plate and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to harden.
