Nutella is one of my favorite foods ever. I could sit and eat an entire jar in one sitting. But, upon discovering Deliciously Ella's "Healthy Nutella," I knew that this recipe was something that I had to share. This Nutella is thick, smooth and sweet. It is amazing over hot toast and is even more amazing to eat straight out of the jar with a spoon. The best part of all? It's healthy AF.
The Best Healthy Nutella

- 2 cups hazelnuts
- 1/2 a cup water
- 1/2 a cup maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
Ingredients

Step 1
Bake the hazelnuts at 350°F for ten minutes. Then, take them out of the oven and allow them to cool completely.

Once cool, place hazelnuts in a food processor and blend for about ten minutes, until they totally break down.

Add the maple syrup and cacao and blend again, before gradually pouring in the water – it’s important that the first three are properly mixed before you add the water, as you may not need it all.

This healthy Nutella is best stored in a jar in the fridge for up to 1 week - if it lasts that long.
