Should you choose to celebrate like the Irish this year, drinking on an empty stomach is always a bad idea. When starting early, a filling breakfast is key to making sure the mid-afternoon hangover doesn’t hit you too hard (remember it's a marathon, not a sprint).
Buttermilk pancakes are easy to make, and my go-to breakfast when hosting a large group of people. Adding just a little bit of green food coloring and topping with some Lucky Charms marshmallows makes these St. Patrick's Day Lucky Charms Pancakes a fun and festive spin on a classic breakfast.
Having learned from my sudden death due to not enough breakfast, and more than enough Jell-O shots on the morning of my first year St. Patrick's day experience, this time around I’ll be going hard in the kitchen before I do at the party.
