While I do support morning-after cold pizza, I’ve been searching for a way to spice up my ‘za. Thankfully, this recipe for crunchy, cheesy pizza croutons has been a game-changer. Drop them in tomato soup for a cozy get-together or toss them into your salad for a more adventurous pairing.

Crunchy Leftover Pizza Croutons

- 2 slices of leftover pizza
- 1 can tomato soup
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Ingredients

Step 1
Begin heating the tomato soup and remove the crust from your leftover pizza. Place one slice over the other so the cheese is on the inside. Cut into 1-inch squares as best you can.

Coat a sauté pan with a healthy amount of vegetable oil and fry croutons for about 3 minutes or until the cheese between the slices melts and the bottom crust is golden brown.

Flip each crouton and fry for another 3 minutes or until they are completely golden brown and crunchy.

Drain the croutons on paper towel and toss over tomato soup, salad or snack on them alone.
